We’re embarking on an ambitious mission: to build a new facility for our staff and students that is designed to fit our needs.
With regular infusions of snow (and rain and sun) and a range of projects to engage us, we are thoroughly enjoying the rhythm of these lengthening winter days.
Ravens have been visiting us this year. They have learned we have snack whether we are playing in the forest or on a hike to the aspen grove.

“My favorite thing about going to Roots was being outside in the winter and exploring the forest. Another favorite thing was when my teachers helped me make a Rock Chipping Site so I could learn about the what rocks look like inside. I learned to work together with my friends and build cool things at The Building Site. My best memory is the day my spirit animal, the fox, came to visit my class after I wrote him a letter.
